Hey everyone. Thanks for all the great comments! They're always greatly appreciated.
Yep, Jason, same material, markettes and color stix. (occasionally I will use a 10% and or 30% grey prismacolor marker).
Fiona, well, there's really no magic tricks (besides the occasional smoke and or mirrors), (jk) it's mostly just a ton of practice and drawing what you observe. Finding you're own voice of your perception of reality, that's how you develop your style.
Although, I do have a few tutorials on my methods if it helps. Of course it only explains the method I prefer to work, but everyone is different. My drawing tutorial is:
