McNight Digital Painting

This is commissioned piece for the McKnight who are planning to get married this November. Not only did they want me to draw their guests at the wedding but also wanted a caricature of them as well. I decided to do something a little different and do it digitally. I will be offering digital caricature as well.

Ultimae Horror Weekend

Mike Hasson Video

Back in November I attended the NCN (now ISCA) Convention, and while I was there I did a few drawings. Little did I know, a fellow NCN member named Brian Vasilik was taking a number of photos of me drawing Mike Hasson. Turns out, Brian made it into a video. Thanks so much Brian, this is awesome, and I hope everyone there in bloggerland enjoy it too.

Anthony & Tina

So, after all those crazy adventures (Tales from Canada), I decided to do some artwork while I was there. Sheina (my girlfriend) and I stayed with her father (Anthony) and his girlfriend (Tina) while we were in Canada. It was a really great and relaxing vacation, we had a ton of fun. And as a symbol of my appreciation to her father and Tina for letting us stay with them, I decided to do a caricature of them.
I put away the usual markers and Color Stix and took out a black color pencil and a large sketch pad and did a more polished tonal drawing.

Needless to say, they REALLY enjoyed it, I found it refreshing to do something a little different.

So by now I am in "the Great White North" celebrating Canada Day with my lovely and talented girl friend Sheina Fae. She's originally from Canada and wanted me to along with her so I can visit her mother land?...or something like that. either way, I'm gettin crunked on some REAL maple syrup!

That's a Wrap!!

This is the very last drawing done by me at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. I'm not saying forever, but at least for a while. As mentioned in my previous post, I'm movin' on to hopefully "greener pastures".
When I told the model sitting in my chair this was the last drawing I would do there (after 4 years) she begin to get very sad but also very excited that she was the last....lol, and we had only just met!
Don't worry, this is NOT the end of this blog, trust me there's plenty more to come, but things will just be a little different.

Good Bye Kamans Art Shoppes

Tension has been building for quit a while with my working relationship with working for Kamans Art Shopps, I won't get into it, but what IS important is that I am moving on to other projects. So these are some of the last LIVE! caricatures that were done at Busch Gardens.
Although I am extremely grateful for all the great experiences and the freedom to drawn and learn everyday, I must begin to set my sights towards other opportunities. Currently I have been very busy with several privately commissioned pieces and I'm looking forward to spending more time that I can on them. So look forward to seeing all sorts of different types of work on here. I will of course always try to do caricatures, so this will always be a place you'll see some jacked' up faces.

MoDNar is simply Random Spelled backwards

Thought this was sort of funny, the little girls parents left her alone with a handful of cash while they went on a coaster, I didn't take the little girls picture without the parents there to say ok.

I'm not entirely happy with this batch of drawings, but there are some things I like about them, for instance, I think she came out fairly humorous.

The girl on the top left was there with her friend celebrating her birthday, and wanted something really funny to remember the occasion.

I swear this kid was going to pass out after the first 2 seconds of sitting in my chair, by the time I took the picture, I think he just about did.

Memorial Day (Finally some customers)

This is the brother? of one of the owners at a place called the International Boba House (where we have our Art Nights). The owners knew my style very well and decided to have him drawn.

Here's a Couple that sat for me in the later part of the afternoon, They seemed really squeamish and although I took a photo of the drawing, I didn't feel they would comfortable about taking a photo of them (trust me, it looks just like 'em), but I was more happy someone ACTUALLY sat for a drawing. seriously it's been beyond dead here.
